Carrie Kitchen
MRA Board Secretary - Executive Board Member

Carrie and her family have lived in Marietta for over 10 years. She and her husband, Matt, often say moving to Marietta has been one of the best decisions they've made due to the community and relationships they have formed. Carrie's children, 12-year-old twins Molly and Harper and eight-year-old Liam, are active in school and in the community as well. Carrie formerly was involved with the Marietta Market, as a manager and board member for several years. The experience with Marietta Market encouraged Carrie's love for the town and desire to support the town's growth. She is excited to bring this passion to the MRA!

Meet the Board

Trevor Williams
Trevor has been on the board for over two years now and have, until recently, operated as Treasurer. I originally joined the MRA through The Marietta Traveler where I volunteered for over five years as a writer and the advertising coordinator. Originally, I moved to Marietta back in December of 2009 to finish my bachelors of science in chemistry at Millersville University. There are so many things that I love about Marietta and I have been fortunate enough to see some great progress as the community has come together to revitalize our little river town and I’ve also met a great many interesting people who have permanently changed my life. In short, I’ve grown up here. With this being my last year on the board at the golden age of 34, I’m excited to see how the torch shall be taken up by the new officers and board members as they continue to advance the MRA mission: preserve Marietta history to allow future generations to connect with their roots.
